Yikes! But here is a tiny little update, and by tiny little I mean like huge! Okay here goes:<br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>First and the saddest I lost my grandmother at the beginning of the year, but I know she is in a much better place.</li>
<li>Later broke up with my boyfriend of like 4.5 years, you know sometimes when people get older you grow apart. But oh well such is life!</li>
<li>Next I went out and decided to leave the life of brunette and go into the lovely world of being a red head! Yay!! I think it fits my attitude </li>
</ul>
<br />

<ul>
<li>I celebrated my 4 year anniversary at my job. I have honestly gained some of my closest friends there, I love them!</li>
<li>And the biggest, bestest news like ever: I am officially finally graduating this semester!! And I am looking into the awesome career of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy! :)</li>
</ul>
So yeah that is pretty much like all the things that has happened to me thus far. Here is to many more adventures in the future and hopefully a decision on my career! :)Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-12407566367892295642013-12-19T00:02:00.001-06:002013-12-19T00:02:28.407-06:00Out Rage!<p dir=ltr>Hey everyone, I apologize for not blogging more often but I was in math this semester and I'm pretty sure my brain melted.<br>
Speaking of brains melting I'm pretty sure the brains of whoever it is who bained Phil Robertson from his own show melted. We live in America where it it clearly stated in the bill of right that each individual has the freedom of speech, but all these liberal nut jobs are revoking everyone's rights save the gays and illegal immigrants. A&E totally lost any and all support from me when they pulled this stunt, our country is run by immoral idiots who have sex, drugs, and drinking supported on television for all the children of the world to see. How dare one man speak his opinion, which happens to not be the same as the station's supervisor, but it is okay to have a show on the air about skimply clad women having sex and drama? I should say not! A&E CEO please realize your ratings are now going down the tube faster than you can apologize to Phil!</p>

Okay, I have got to get this out before I blow up and bust! I know I am not a mom, but if you have kids please please please spank their butts, you wont get arrested for spanking them it isn't a crime! It is not fair to their teacher or to those you ask to watch them to be stuck trying to make a spoiled child mind! I have a cousin who is in the 1st grade here and she acts like she has never been told no once in her life and that she should get whatever she wants! She is a minis, and is especially bad when we take her to church. True, she doesn't come to church as much as she should, but that is partly because we cannot handle her every week!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Another thing, make them play with things other than technology. I no games on my computer other than the ones that came on it, and I don't even play them. The same cousin looked at me and asked me to come back to my granny's with her and to bring my ipad (which I am glad to say I don't own one) or my lapitop and that we could play together. I know it is extremely convenient to just hand them a phone or ipad and tell them to play with that, but when you do that you steal their childhood away!!! Kids are suppose to play outside and come in muddy, or do finger paints(with supervision of course) and learn who they are! They aren't supposed to be little robots with phones attached to them getting every single thing they ask for because they shed some crocodile tears!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
All of this is why I have chosen to not become a teacher, because of poor parenting skills! I would not be able to handle a student walking up to me and telling me what to do. In most cases the children run the home not the parents, and that is backwards! Parents please be parents and not friends to your kids and give them what they want! Our school system needs to bring back paddling, it was around for part of my generation and those who got paddled understand why and that it was necessary.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Rant over, for now. Now I must study for my math test tomorrow.</div>

Whew I never knew summer classes would be so busy! Glad it is over for a few days, now I am just waiting for financial aid to come through. But I have things rolling so I can finally get my own car. If I can just get a second job I would be able to get that car sooner! I am actually about to finish a project for once, that is if I can stay focused on it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I guess I am done for now. Have a good night! Toodles!</div>

I find out in just a few minutes if I have any more therapy in my future. </p>

Today my Buffalo and I did this ab work out that made my abs scream out in agony! And here I thought I was physically fit all this time boy, was I wrong. But I think I can manage the pain cause when swimming season is in full swing I will be able to rock my bikini with some awesome abs!<br>
Yesterday my Buffalo and I went to this book store, (which I am in love with now, so many books!) and I found out I can have some store credit if I bring in some of my already loved books. So I did. After we left there I came home and found four, yes Four, big monsterous bags worth of books and got around $106 worth of store credit! I did use a little bit of it and got a nice box set of The Hobbit and all of the Lord of The Rings books and the first book to another series that my sweetie likes, thought I would give it a try.<br>
I can't wait to read all my new books and get some more! But, before I can start another one I am going to make myself finish the one I already started. So off to read I go, toodles!<br>
P.S. Sorry about the quality of the picture, I took it with my phone and wrote this post with my phone.<br>

Missed A Day<p dir=ltr>Sorry I missed posting yesterday, I was a bit busy running around with my sister and her fiancee (I think that's spelled right) looking for mother's day gifts for our mom and his.<br>
I'm working on my dear's birthday gift right now! I really hope he likes it, he practically told me what to get haha. <br>
Welp small break is now over, back to work. Toodles!</p>

Today hasn't been too eventful my family and I went down to a little country store/restaurant for lunch and I finished baking my coworker's cookies today but I haven't done very much. Oh and it is Star Wars day! I am going to be fighting telling people at work "May the Fourth be with you". Speaking of work I have a sneaking suspicion that we won't be too busy like we can be because of the lovely rain we got today, but hey I have been wrong before so you never know.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
And a quick shout out to my former ROTC unit have a great night tonight at the ball, don't do anything stupid! Seniors I am proud of y'all! I can't believe some of y'all are already graduating! But, have fun and be safe.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
With that I guess I will be going to work now.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
May the Fourth be with you!</div>

I haven't been able to do much on here due to knee visits and the physical therapy visits, but I think I might can finally catch up again! I have decided to go back to college starting this summer, in fact I have classes starting at the end of this month, but I am going to try to make it my daily goal to blog a bit everyday! I am really looking forward to my classes this summer cause I'm taking French and Astronomy, I hope they are as fun as I think they will be.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We recently had a new friend move into our yard! We now have an Eastern Screech Owl living in a hole in our tree, I find this exciting because even though I don't live in a big city I do live near one of the busiest parts of it, so having a little owl living in our tree and trusting us to get near the tree is kind of exciting. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you can't tell I obviously didn't get the job at the public library which bummed me out quite a bit, but I know I will find a second job eventually though. And I am on the verge of getting my license (I know I'm 20 and I don't have it yet, been a wee bit busy) and as soon as that happens it will open me up to other jobs and increase my chance of getting a second one.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I sometimes wonder what it feels like not having to work and just go to college and not worry about bills and stuff, but then I realize I get bored wayyyyy too easily and I would end up having to work or do something just so I don't got crazy!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
A few months ago I found this awesome recipe for Nutella cookies (found here: http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/desserts/nutella-cookies/ ) I think I am addicted to eating them! I told my coworkers about them and brought some to work with me one day, and today I have to at least make the dough and bake them for one of my coworkers who just graduated from nursing school. So, with that have a lovely day, I'm gonna go get to work on some yummy cookies; she is gonna be luck if she even gets any of these cookies haha! Toodles!</div>

Where do I start? I have been super busy jumping from work, applying for a second job and knee visits. Sorry about not getting to Blog much. After yesterday I will get to do more on here than what I have been doing. Why you may ask, well I finally had surgery on my knee yesterday, so I am down-ish for a while. I am glad I finally got it done; I was a little nervous the days leading up to it, but my sweet fella made it all better! I wish I could post pictures of my lovely knee but I stole my sister's computer this morning, so I will have to hobble back to mine sometime and show y'all the knee.<br />Well I must be getting ready soon since I have therapy and other stuff to do today. Have a lovely day everybody! Toodles</div>
Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-45681903059000114282013-01-25T10:02:00.000-06:002013-01-25T10:02:27.168-06:00Knee News<div style="text-align: center;">
Yesterday after six to seven excruciating years of knee pain I finally went to the doctor about it! I am now on the maybe long road to recovery from a fall I took when I was in the eighth grade and a small ligament problem I naturally developed trough regular growth as a child. I was diagnosed with Patella Femoral Syndrome, which is just a fancy way of saying my knee cap is not where it is suppose to be. Not only that but the tendon that is connected to my knee cap that is suppose to keep my knee cap from tilting is connected to it's secondary connection point in the wrong place. I am suppose to be able to draw a straight line running down my leg to across my knee and down to the very beginning of my shin, but mine makes a right turn which angles my knee cap to the right just enough to cause pain.<br />
For the next six (long) weeks I have exercises that I have to do and wear my new knee brace and take anti-inflammatory medication. I hope this will work my knee cap back into place, I am not sure that it will cause some of these exercises are some that I did in school.<br />
But on a happy note, I got this groovy new crochet/knit bag makes carrying my yarn and projects easier! I can't wait to carry it to work tonight! Ah well time to finish my new tea (lemon flavored) and get my day rolling! Have a great day! Toodles!</div>
Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-67576669647244379402013-01-16T18:33:00.001-06:002013-01-16T20:45:56.980-06:00Sorry About the Politics<div style="text-align: center;">
I try not to let my political view come into my blog, but what the president has done annoys me so much I have to let it out! Today the president of this once great nation has practically eradicated the 2nd amendment, that our forefathers granted us, stating that it is the legal right of all United States citizens to own a gun. He wants to take that right away from us by banning the right to own one saying that guns are bad and that they kill people, but is it the gun waking up one morning saying "humm today I think I will go shoot someone"? No, it is the messed up person who gets a kick out of shooting innocent people saying this! Instead of the government spending billions of tax payers' dollars to remove guns from citizens they should spend more money training teachers how to protect their students better and make every school have School Resource Officers to prevent crazy people coming in and shooting the place up.<br />
And making the back ground checks "stricter" isn't going to stop Billy Bob from going over to Joe Bob's house and buying or stealing his gun! So how about this liberal ran stop wasting money on bills and other "genius" ideas and spend it where it is needed! I mean come on I am 20 and in a few more months I should be able to buy my own hand gun and get my carry permit in order to PROTECT me and who ever is around me!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Did the officials in the government not pay attention to history? What they are wanting to do is exactly what Hitler did in Germany and that didn't work out very well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay I think I am done ranting, toodles.</div>
Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-14626473467909197692013-01-10T22:33:00.003-06:002013-01-10T22:33:16.457-06:00Crossed Fingers<div style="text-align: center;">
It sure is hard to knit with fingers crossed. Why are my fingers crossed you may ask, well I just finished filling out an application to be a library assistant at the public library in my town! I am going tomorrow to turn it in so I am super nervous about that! I keep telling my self not to get my hopes up, but that is hard to do when working at the public library has been one of my dreams since I was a <strike>little</strike> younger girl than I am. ;) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But any who I have really been enjoying being out of college lately I have gotten some stuff accomplished *happy dance* like I can see my floor again! Being a student and employee and a cat owner means papers get strewn everywhere and after work just too tired to pick them up or care that you have a pile of clothes in what used to be a very pretty chair, that the cat you have had for around 6 months hasn't seen fully, needing to be organized and hung up. Now I just need to go through the remaining garments and choose the weakest links/volunteers for a charitable yard sale and package them up. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Oh and even more good news, my sometimes co-worker, who is almost like a big sister to me just without the constant bickering, asked me to be one of her bridesmaids for her wedding! I am honored to be one of her bridesmaids, she and her groom are some awesome people and I am grateful that they are my friends.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay I guess I have said enough for now, back to going through clothes and such! Toodles all! <br />P.S. Pray, hope, and wish me luck that I get this job! A second source of income would be extremely helpful!</div>
Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-91358129314483835122012-12-09T14:35:00.001-06:002012-12-09T14:35:41.849-06:00Busiest Month of All<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I know I did! Well our Christmas tree and all of the gifts have survived all 3 cats so far!! Went the other day and got a lot of my Christmas shopping completed on one pay check, thank goodness for sales. Right now I am locked in my room while my parents do some shopping for my sister and little ole' me, so I am bored cause one of the books I am reading is down stairs with them. But any who, this time next week I will no longer be categorized as a "stupid teenager" exciting week right? Not really; my sister has given me her cold, I have to present my final exam tomorrow to my class, and on top of all of that my sweetie has to go out of town on his days off, one of which happen to be my birthday. This makes the second time I have gotten sick within 3 months of each time, so I am pretty pouty right now. At least it isn't a relapse of strep throat *knock on wood*. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I guess I should be cleaning on my room but I really just want to be lazy. OH OH OH, next week my sweetie and I will be celebrating our 2 year!! Never in my life did I think I would even get to celebrate on week of being with someone, but hey miracles happen.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I guess I will try to get some stuff done on this messy room. Have a great day all. Toodles<br />P.S. here are some pictures of our Christmas decorations</div>

Today I am making it official this will be my last semester of college until I am able to go to the Art Institute and achieve the goal I have had since forth grade. NO longer will I be wasting my time dabbling in stuff I don't want to do. It is time for me to focus all of my efforts on something I am passionate about; I will prove to those who have zero faith in me that I can do what I set my mind to. He may call it a mistake all day long, but at least when I have been doing my job for 27 years I will still enjoy it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am a strong woman who can do whatever I set my mind to!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I will have a bakery of my own and I hope I will see some of my readers in there.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Good night all, time for me to start standing up for myself. Toodles!</div>

All last week and most likely this week too I have had the worst cold I have had in a looooong time. I have literally been getting up from bed just long enough to go to class and eat, but most of my days I have been sitting or laying watching t.v. shows. Boy do I wish I liked tea, maybe I should try hot tea sometime I might actually like that kind.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One awesome thing did happen last week, I started watching Star Wars with my sweetie for the first time ever! And it is my first time seeing them not his, he has seen them a few times; me on the other hand have not seen them and I really wanted to understand the cute jokes I have been seeing all over the internet and well everywhere. I think I will get to see the next one this week and maybe possibly the third one too! My sweetie is really the best!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well I guess I should be hitting the hay soon since I have class tomorrow morning and I still am fighting this annoying super cold. Well good night everyone, my the force be with you!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
P.S. Yes, I know I am a geek, it happens and I am proud of being a geek! </div>

At last fall break has arrived! I now have a chance to get caught up on
my knit (new project going on) and some other house related stuff.
Speaking of house related stuff, yesterday I went through all of my
clothes and jackets and filled a giant trash bag with stuff to donate to
a local coat drive! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
With fall break here that means Halloween is right around the corner! Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays, we already have our pumpkins ready to carve, some candy to give out and we are going to decorate our house up nice here soon! I just realized we do more decorating for Halloween than any other holiday at my house.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Welp I guess I should get back to enjoying being free from class, I hope everyone else has a wonderful day!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Toodles!!</div>

Hello all this semester has been crazy busy started out the semester taking four classes but ended up having to drop one of them in order to stay sane. My math class started out fun but has rapidly gotten harder. I am happy to say that there is a slight chance that I could go to the local Art Institute and finally be able to do what I really want to do!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Since I finally have this crazy semester sort of under control I get to knit again! I am surprised that after not doing anything with my needles for so long, when I finally picked them up again I just started right up like I just put them down yesterday. I am currently working on a scarf (not that I need a new one but it gives me something fun to do). I also got to bake a birthday cake the other day with a good friend for her sister's birthday, which was incredibly fun! Soon I get to bake and decorate cupcakes for a sweet girl's one year birthday party!! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well back to the madness of the semester I hope everyone has a wonderful evening/day! Toodles!!</div>
Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-36591204772810621652012-08-14T15:03:00.000-05:002012-08-14T15:03:39.252-05:00Busy!!<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been so busy these past few days! For the last two weeks and this week too my sweetie has been working at a buddy's place during the day and going to train for a job at night, so to occupy my time that I have been cleaning like a mad person. I am glad he finally has a job but I cannot wait until I get to spend time with him, I miss him. Since I have been cleaning so much I now have room in my now clean room to move my mom's old desk from my grandma's house to my room! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My father and I are going to go measure it to make sure it will fit soon and my sweetie and his buddy will be helping us move it shortly after that (hopefully tomorrow). Although my sister says that dad and her boy can get it I know better and I don't want her boy in my room even though it would be just long enough to move a desk in there I don't want him in here. I would much rather have two people who I have known for six years and I know I can trust to move my desk. Plus they have already agreed to doing it so my sister needs to just get over it.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can't wait to be able to sit down at my own desk to do my homework for the up coming semester on my new/old desk. Well I best be going so that I can be ready to go with my dad to look at the desk, have a great afternoon or morning everyone! Toodles!!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi everyone, sorry I have been so silent but shortly after my last post I got a two month old (now three month) kitten and have had my hands full with him. Not a lot has occurred in the time between now and then so you all haven't missed out on much. I have been able to spend more time with my sweetie lately, I have been enjoying it but I do really hope he gets this job he is applying for! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well I know I haven't said much but I am sure when the semester begins next month I will have a whole lot of fussing/venting to do. I must go to work now so toodles, have a nice day!</div>Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-88973174270200951042012-06-22T08:24:00.002-05:002012-06-22T08:27:25.380-05:00My Mom!<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Today is the anniversary of the birth of one of the best moms ever! Yup,
today is my mom's birthday and it will be a wonderful day for her! She is best person ever, I can talk to her about everything and it is fun to hang out with her; she is the best woman ever!
Yesterday my sister had a quick course on how to bake a cake and then
last night after work I decorated it for her. I love my mom with all my heart and I hope she enjoys her day!<br />
Toodles all.</div>

My lovely mother in front of her monster rose bush.</div>Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-60323620322148366372012-06-16T14:53:00.001-05:002012-06-16T14:53:32.218-05:00Time For A Bit Of Catching Up<div style="text-align: center;">
I know it has been a few days since I was on here last, but I have been kinda busy. Over the past few weeks I have been working on my room and getting it ready to have my mom's old desk moved into my room from her mother's house. It has taken some serious attention focusing attempts but I am proud to say that I should be able to move my desk maybe next week sometime or the week after that!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I also finally got a sewing machine!!! It took me years of looking at it in the store to finally pick it up and buy it. I just got it yesterday and I have been fixing things all day from my mom's old childhood pillow to some of her dresses, I'm not complaining seeing that I rather enjoy sewing but I wanna make something. I guess I am just going to have to start looking for ideas. If anyone has any ideas let me know what they are and I will most defanatly try to do them!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Well I guess I should start getting ready to go to work, if you live in the same general area as me you should defiantly take your father out to a nice dinner at River Terrace!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Toodles everyone and to all the fathers out there have a happy Father's Day!!</div>Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-91730363132412544802012-06-07T22:20:00.000-05:002012-06-07T22:20:13.038-05:00Time To Take A Moment<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, I know not all of my friends or coworkers will read this, or have the time to for that matter. But I would like to say that each and everyone of you I consider my family. Take my coworkers, for example; all of the servers are like my brothers and sisters, the kitchen staff are like cousins (because I am hardly in there to actually talk to them), and my bosses are like two extra parents. When I am at work I feel as safe there as I do when I am at home with my family and my sweetie.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I never really noticed that most of the people I have added on face book are mostly just people that I talked to just a few times at school, or people I happened to have class with. But really I think I only have three friends friends that I can remotely call my best friends, I talk to these three every single day and I feel I can tell them anything and everything. These three are: my friend Katie, who I have known since preschool; my "Buffalo", not her real name but an inside joke; and my sweetie, who I will have been blessed to call my sweetie for one and a half years in a couple of weeks! I have known him and Buffalo for around five years, but I must say knowing them and Katie as long as I have has proved who my real friends are outside of my "two" families.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I am thankful God has blessed me with such amazing friends and has given me the chance to meet the people who helped them be the people they are, aka, their awesome families!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay my moment is over, I hope everyone has a wonderful night! Toodles!</div>Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6498447476962191937.post-89028647607275525952012-06-02T10:58:00.000-05:002012-06-02T10:58:36.490-05:00Ah June!<div style="text-align: center;">
This month shouldn't be too crazy for me, yay! Well it shouldn't after this weekend is over, this weekend is the annual canoe trip for my sweetie and his guy friends. But when he gets back I am going to see if he wants to go antiquing with me and maybe one of my friends!<br />
This month is kinda super exciting for me because this month marks one and a half years with my sweet heart! Eep! I never thought I would get to say that, I thought I would be the crazy aunt to my sister's kids (if she has any ever)...oh wait I will always be the crazy one in my family. Okay well time to go see what this day has in store for me, I might get to go shooting before work!<br />
Toodles everyone I hope y'all have a great day!</div>Small Town Girlhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05069975041133498398noreply@blogger.com0
