Knee News

Yesterday after six to seven excruciating years of knee pain I finally went to the doctor about it! I am now on the maybe long road to recovery from a fall I took when I was in the eighth grade and a small ligament problem I naturally developed trough regular growth as a child. I was diagnosed with Patella Femoral Syndrome, which is just a fancy way of saying my knee cap is not where it is suppose to be. Not only that but the tendon that is connected to my knee cap that is suppose to keep my knee cap from tilting is connected to it's secondary connection point in the wrong place. I am suppose to be able to draw a straight line running down my leg to across my knee and down to the very beginning of my shin, but mine makes a right turn which angles my knee cap to the right just enough to cause pain.
For the next six (long) weeks I have exercises that I have to do and wear my new knee brace and take anti-inflammatory medication. I hope this will work my knee cap back into place, I am not sure that it will cause some of these exercises are some that I did in school.
But on a happy note, I got this groovy new crochet/knit bag makes carrying my yarn and projects easier! I can't wait to carry it to work tonight! Ah well time to finish my new tea (lemon flavored) and get my day rolling! Have a great day! Toodles!

Sorry About the Politics

I try not to let my political view come into my blog, but what the president has done annoys me so much I have to let it out! Today the president of this once great nation has practically eradicated the 2nd amendment, that our forefathers granted us, stating that it is the legal right of all United States citizens to own a gun. He wants to take that right away from us by banning the right to own one saying that guns are bad and that they kill people, but is it the gun waking up one morning saying "humm today I think I will go shoot someone"? No, it is the messed up person who gets a kick out of shooting innocent people saying this! Instead of the government spending billions of tax payers' dollars to remove guns from citizens they should spend more money training teachers how to protect their students better and make every school have School Resource Officers to prevent crazy people coming in and shooting the place up.
And making the back ground checks "stricter" isn't going to stop Billy Bob from going over to Joe Bob's house and buying or stealing his gun! So how about this liberal ran stop wasting money on bills and other "genius" ideas and spend it where it is needed! I mean come on I am 20 and in a few more months I should be able to buy my own hand gun and get my carry permit in order to PROTECT me and who ever is around me!
Did the officials in the government not pay attention to history? What they are wanting to do is exactly what Hitler did in Germany and that didn't work out very well.
Okay I think I am done ranting, toodles.

Crossed Fingers

It sure is hard to knit with fingers crossed. Why are my fingers crossed you may ask, well I just finished filling out an application to be a library assistant at the public library in my town! I am going tomorrow to turn it in so I am super nervous about that! I keep telling my self not to get my hopes up, but that is hard to do when working at the public library has been one of my dreams since I was a little younger girl than I am. ;)
But any who I have really been enjoying being out of college lately I have gotten some stuff accomplished *happy dance* like I can see my floor again! Being a student and employee and a cat owner means papers get strewn everywhere and after work just too tired to pick them up or care that you have a pile of clothes in what used to be a very pretty chair, that the cat you have had for around 6 months hasn't seen fully, needing to be organized and hung up. Now I just need to go through the remaining garments and choose the weakest links/volunteers for a charitable yard sale and package them up.
Oh and even more good news, my sometimes co-worker, who is almost like a big sister to me just without the constant bickering, asked me to be one of her bridesmaids for her wedding! I am honored to be one of her bridesmaids, she and her groom are some awesome people and I am grateful that they are my friends.
Okay I guess I have said enough for now, back to going through clothes and such! Toodles all!
P.S. Pray, hope, and wish me luck that I get this job! A second source of income would be extremely helpful!
